The present research is a descriptive research in terms of its purpose and methodology. In the present study, to explore the main concepts of the field of e-learning, we reviewed the published articles and sources of information on e-learning. Finally, the main categories of e-learning areas including human resources, technology infrastructure, and educational content were identified. In the present study, the basis of the method used to extract semantic concepts and relationships, the knowledge engineering approach, and the basis of the method used to create ontology is top-down method. Protégé software 3.5 was also used to build an ontology. In this study, seven stages were used to construct ontology, including determining the scope and ontology coverage, determining the ontology hierarchy, determining the conceptual pairs, determining the classes, describing the characteristics, defining the quarries and creating the sample. According to the results of the study, the proposed method can be used to complete and develop the proposed ontology for e-learning. هدف از پژوهش حاضر طراحی سیستم یادگیری الکترونیک مبتنی بر هستی‌شناسی است. روش پژوهش: پژوهش حاضر از لحاظ هدف کاربردی و از لحاظ روش از نوع پژوهش‌های توصیفی است. در پژوهش حاضر برای استخراج مفاهیم اصلی حوزه آموزش الکترونیک به بررسی مقاله‌ها و منابع اطلاعاتی منتشر شده در مورد آموزش الکترونیک پرداخته شد و درنهایت مقوله‌های اصلی حوزه آموزش الکترونیک شامل منابع انسانی، زیرساخت‌های فناوری و محتوای آموزشی شناسایی شدند. در پژوهش حاضر مبنای روش به کار گرفته شده در استخراج مفاهیم و روابط معنایی، راهکار مهندسی دانش و مبنای روش به کار رفته در ایجاد هستی‌شناسی، روش بالا به پایین بود. همچنین جهت ساخت هستی‌شناسی از نرم‌افزار پروتژه ویرایش 3.5 استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: در پژوهش حاضر از هفت مرحله برای ساخت هستی‌شناسی استفاده شد که شامل تعیین دامنه و پوشش هستی‌شناسی، تعیین سلسله‌مراتب هستی‌شناسی، تعیین جفت‌های مفهومی، تعیین رده‌ها، توصیف ویژگی‌ها، تعریف چهریزه‌ها و ایجاد نمونه بود. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج پژوهش می‌توان از روش ارائه شده برای تکمیل و توسعه هستی‌شناسی پیشنهادی برای حوزه آموزش الکترونیک استفاده کرد. https://jipm.irandoc.ac.ir/article_699621_c1088772e2f8ebe1754ee1f9b83e1293.pdf
