Information organization techniques developed in library and information science today have much applications in information architecture and construct the basis of this field. From this respect, there is strong relationship between organization techniques of library science and information architecture. Topic Map is a standard in information architecture that shows exactly this relation. This article discusses the relation of library science techniques with Topic Map.
