Author
Abstract
This article gives an explanation about the history and different advent phases of seminary libraries and tries to answer two basic questions about the current status of this kind of libraries (specially in Iran society) according to the results acquired in this area on the studying of the status of seminary libraries located in Khuzestan province: 1) Is there any research done the same as the mentioned research in Iran or in other Islamic countries? If no, what are the probable causes? 2) While there are not any library standards to manage the services of these libraries, can the present standards (standards of special and university libraries) be used for seminary libraries?
