Impact Factor is one of the most important tools to evaluate journals in ISI. In this article, have been tried to extract factors increase the journals' impact factor via studying the literatures and also introduce the factors that may be effective in reducing the weaknesses. The effect of factors such as interval, national, and individual motivations to increase the impact factor of journals and also issues that should be considered when calculating the impact factor, comprised some of the contents of this paper. At the end of the study, in order to evaluate the effect of using the optimal impact factor of journals, some recommendations were presented.
