Web, like other internet services, is based on services by which a wide range of internet resources from research on a scientific issue to information about travel to one of the world cities are accessible. Contrary to internet complexity, the web nature is comparatively simple. On the other hand, world wide web is the biggest and most varies collection of information which has been collected up to now and is an effort for connecting human beings by a powerful method. In fact, this network with its wide facilities is one of the most advanced information devices and services in libraries and information centers. The main aim for its establishments is the sharing of research issues and cooperation among physicists indifferent places. Also focusing on the reader instead of the writer and transferring from text to hypertext are of its other aims. The development and rxpansion of web application in comparison to other internet devices and services is because of its two main properties, that is its usability in multimedia environment and its hypertextual pability. This paper is to present the definition and history of world wide web and different discussions including web services, web attractiveness, world wide web language, web browser, the factors which have caused the fame of this network and finally the working method of web.
