Globalization is assigned to a process whereby the free flow of thought, human beings, goods, services and capital is made possible throughout the world. The concept has impacted in a way that it has transformed spatial as well as temporal variables. International communications has expanded. In this new convention, information quantities have blown up out of proportion and led to the growth of international communication networks, whether personal or social. The present paper would deal with these topics and draws conclusions based on their impacts on librarianship and information profession.
