The main purpose of the present study
extent to which the Gas Company of Yazd province
implement e-learning. The electronic readiness of the company
investigated by a six dimensional model which
the literature. The dimensions includ
culture readiness, environmental readiness, financial readiness,
infrastructural readiness, and technical read
dimensions were assessed by a descriptive
questionnaire for which the required reliability and validity have been
obtained. Taking into account the population under investigation, the
three remaining dimensions
method using semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the
level of computer experience for the employees and their cultural
readiness was favorable. Also, the result of assessing environmental
readiness showed that the company had favorable conditions to adopt e
learning. Considering the proposed approach for the company to
implement e-learning, dimensions of financial readiness, technical
readiness, and infrastructural readiness were assessed. It was
far as the financial, infrastructural issues, and the technical staff
concerned, the conditions
specialist staff for the management of the learning system was concerned
the conditions are were favorable. Finally, a proposal for implementing e
learning in the company was presented.
