The present study was conducted in order to determine employee job satisfaction at the Data processing division of the National Library and Archives of Islamic Republic of Iran. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS statistical software. The findings show that employee job satisfaction in this division, like their peers at other libraries, was low with respect to benefits, managerial policies and job security. It was however relatively good with respect to human relations within the organization and professional and corporate status and social standing
